Alpine Inspired New Build – Anglesea, Victoria

Project Type: New Build, Alpine Inspired Design, Natural Materials

Build: Creations In Parallel

Design: Creations In Parallel

Designed and built by Creations in Parallel, this home was created for owners seeking the character and warmth of an alpine cabin, combined with a more contemporary architectural expression.

The design brings together natural materials and modern finishes, creating a home that feels grounded in its surroundings while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Radial-sawn timber provides texture and warmth to the exterior, complemented by sections of Colorbond and the character of recycled brickwork. The combination of materials gives the home a distinctive, layered exterior while reflecting the owners’ desire for a natural and enduring palette.

Upstairs, a light-filled retreat is centred around large awning windows, bringing generous natural light into the space and creating a strong connection to the outdoors.

The result is a contemporary interpretation of the alpine cabin — combining natural materials, practical design and a modern finish.
